Our commitment

Service Acier processes the personal data entrusted to it in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors established in the European Union.

The principle governing this site is simple: we collect only what is necessary to answer you, and we use it for nothing else.

Data collected and purposes

Four forms on this site collect data: the quote request, the contact form, the datasheet request and the speculative job application.

Quote request — name, company, email, phone, city, product list and requirement details. Purpose: preparing and sending you a priced quotation.

Contact — name, company, email, phone, subject and message. Purpose: answering your enquiry.

Datasheet — name, company, email, phone and the product concerned. Purpose: sending you the requested documentation.

Job application — name, email, phone, role sought, message and curriculum vitae. Purpose: reviewing your application.

The legal basis for this processing is your own initiative: you provide this information in order to obtain an answer from us.

What we do not do

Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It does not feed a prospecting database, and you will not receive any email campaign as a result of completing a quote or contact form.

This site uses no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no profiling tools. The quote list you build from the product pages is stored in your browser's local storage and reaches us only when you submit the form.

Recipients and processors

Only the people at Service Acier in charge of handling your request — sales team, management, human resources for applications — have access to your data.

Two technical providers are involved: Namecheap, Inc. (server located in the United States) for site hosting and storage of the requests received, and Resend for delivering the emails generated by the forms. These providers act on our instructions and do not use your data for their own purposes. As their infrastructure may be located outside Morocco, your data may be transferred and processed abroad within this technical framework.

Retention period

Quote, contact and datasheet requests are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and follow up any resulting commercial relationship, then archived in accordance with applicable accounting and tax obligations.

Speculative applications are kept for a maximum of two years after the last exchange, unless you ask for their deletion.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete the data concerning you. To exercise it, write to contactserviceacier.com or send a letter to the company's registered office. We respond as promptly as possible.

In accordance with Law 09-08, you may also refer any complaint about the processing of your data to the Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel (CNDP).

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Forms are protected against automated submissions by an invisible trap field and a limit on the number of submissions per connection.

Application files (CVs) are checked for format and size on receipt, then stored with the request in a private storage area at the hosting provider, outside the public part of the site: on the site, only the password-protected back office gives access to it. Deleting a request also deletes its file; any backup copies, which are private as well, are erased when they expire.

Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The version published online is the one that applies.
